i had joined artic. on 8th august 2007 from indore, then i take transfer on 06/10/2008 to jaipur. now i jst want to know that can i take transfer now. because it was my last year
sumbody had told me that we can take transfer in our last yr of articleship plz will u have anyidea abt it tell me dear

you can't take transfer in the last year of your articleship training............... as per recent rules of ICAI............

I suggest that if you are a CA, article or an accountant, you should write to regentan1 @ yahoo.in for a free career advise. You may also get training and placement facility if you are selected. Experience is not required. Good luck

YOU CAN TAKE TRANSFER ONLY AFTER GIVING REASON TO THE INSTITUTE MENTIONED IN THE RULE, YOU HAVE TO FIST TAKE PERMISSION FROM INSTITUTE, HOWEVER YOU CAN ALSO OPT FOR INDUSTRIAL TRANING

if institute give permision to change your articalship only than you can chang it other wise not and
u can also opt for industrial training......

As per present rules during the first 6 months and last 1 yr u cannot take transfer from your firm...however u can opt for industrial training and for that also minimum9 months of your articleship must be pending...

Transfer is not completely banned..
You will have to take the prior permission by Applying to the Institute for taking the Transfer..
The reason for transfer should be valid.
It takes around 2 months to receive the letter from Institute to know if your Application has been accepted / rejected.
Or you can opt for Industrial training for which no prior Approval is required.
