Study material given by the institute is very good. u can start ur studies right now. so it wont be difficult for u to study during ur exams.

You can start reading theory subject like law , audit from now onwards.

Use compilers only after u finish particular chapter for each subject

You should have confidence in your abilities and must work accordingly.For CA exams planning is very important . As your exams are in may 2010 you can start with all the theory subjects first ie, law , auditing , IT,strategic management.

Make a time table or schedule and follow it so that you have a plan in front of you .

You can start going through practical subjects as well after you covered a few chapters from theory subjects.

Lastly I would like to tell you that the study material provided by the institute is very good for theory subjects and you can use a reference book to clear the concepts.

For practical subjects also you can follow the study material but you will also have to use a good reference book which has lots of practical problems along with theorotical concepts .

Let me tell you that I am not taking tutions for any subject  and i have never taken tutions in my life . My attempt is in May 2009

studying theory papers requires lot of patience. fristly dont see book as hole and dont get scared. reading only all theory paper at once is a problem. while reading theory papers it is better for you to go through practicals like income tax though it is largely theory but very intereting.

what i learned from my experiance is that if dont understand any thing try to find out what is the crux of the problem then it become easy to solve it.

try to spend as much time as possible with books so that you used that book environment

try to read the problem in different ways so that you desired one on any one way. try to take only one topic and while studying that dont try recall what you learend if it has no relevance with present one

if it is very hard to understand leave it for that day and take it up the next day with reading any subject.
