on any day of preceeding month if the person has employed twenty or more persons, EPF rules get applied there.
12% employee share
EPF contribution deducted from employee and deposited to EPF with "employers share"
if the employee is on contract then employer offers EPF allowance without putting his name in EPF, where the employer pays the "employer contribution to employee"
