Pendrive problems

Hi, Everybody,

I am having Kingston make 2.0 gb pendrive,

1) I observed that some folder having junk files and that folder size is showing 500GB I have surprised how it happend? what is the remedy/how to delete it?

2) The same Pendrive when I select safe removal procedure for ejecting purpose. It is not ejecting , it is showing "THE DEVICE 'GENERIC VOLUME' CANNOT STOPPED RIGHT NOW. TRY STOPPING THE DEVICE AGAIN LATER.

kindly suggest the best solution because I am having Important data in that drive. when I make to copy entire disk. due to these folders the files are not copying into system. If any free utility is there for deleting error folders?

by reading your problem, it seems there is some kind of virus in your pen drive, you can try one of the follwing remedy:

1. Just right click the pen drive & format it.

2. Just right click the pen drive & scan it.

These are the only solution of your problem but remeber both these remedial measures can damage you IMPORTANT data.

So the best way is to copy the data in parts to your computer & scan them & after that use any of the above method.

U r facing such problem because of virus in ur pen drive which continously proceed to use ur hardware n software resources so when the pen drive is in use even if u have not given command to do so, ur pen drive is in use of the virus progam in ur pen drive. U should format ur pendrive. and use good anti vurus programs like AVG 8.5 Full version.
