There is good discussion is going on for manipulation... ICAI cannot able to publish the result within the time that was true.... There is two teir checking , that is granted mark will be checked by the other person....... The valuation process also over and number of students clared and failed will be finalised... Result declaration is just like a reporting process... Reporting the same to outside parties... If the economy is weak, the question will be tough to prevent more number of students for claring .... Valuation part also difficult for reducing the result.... There may be internal instruction for valuation part... Those who had written such point you will definity clear....In the tougest scenario... The result be me tight... There is no necessary for ICAI people to hold the result for three more days and reduce the same.... If they want to reduce the result, it would already been happend irrespective of the fact that whether there is delay or Not... Why you support manipulation..May be fear of failure or getting un wanted publicity.... One thing is sure the delay in the result is not for reducing the result...If there is any reduction it is already happen......... Open your mind and Eyes...act wisely...... |

Sec 39 of Chartered Accountants Regulations Act 1988, clearly states that the Result of Exams should be declared in the following Manner
1. (a) A list of candidates declared successful at each examination shall be published
(b) The names of candidates obtaining distinction in the examination shall be indicated in the list
(c) Every candidate shall be individually informed of his result.
2.
The Council may, in its discretion, REVISE THE MARKS obtained by all candidates or a section of candidates in any particular paper or papers or in the aggregate in such manner as may be considered necessary, for maintaining the standards of pass percentage provided in these Regulations.Explanation - The term "section" used in this sub regulation refers to the category of the candidates whose answer papers are value by an examiner and such other category of candidates as may be specified by the Council.

results have always been manipulated as only fixed % of people need to be passed....................which is why many people fail with only 1or2 marks in the exams............
Its common knowledge and known fact.......

dear Sir
Think before you speak... how can u say that we are not serious... you are suppose to mark ur fingure toward any of pe2 student... we have read our books 5 times till date... but due to reason of low passing percentage... i am not getting through my one group.... if a person reads his book thoroghly 5 times in 2 years... how can u say that he is not of any knowledge to pass the exam...
And what tha heck is this constitutuon that when approx 18000 students are appearing in PE2, you are just giving clearance to 180 students (or even less).... So please think before you speak... i have many IPCC students saying " we dont know how we passed, i was thinking of preparing again/or leaving course"
Manipulation roxx for institute.... else 1% result is not even justifiable

I don't understand this post.. where exactly is it given that results of ipcc, pcc, and wto are deferreD? They have always been declared about 10-12 days after Final results, what is new in this? And what does any such delay have to do with Pass%? Please explain?
