Can anyone tell me ...How does membership of ICAEW benefits the member of ICAI ...does it help in salary increase if one has membership of ICAEW...or it will be useful only if one want an employment in England..

Practising certificates and regulated areas

Please note that membership of the ICAEW does not by itself confer practising rights.

ICAI members who join the ICAEW will be eligible for a practising certificate on the same terms as other ICAEW members.

UK audit rights are controlled by the Professional Oversight Board and cannot be conferred on ICAI members joining the ICAEW.

Can someone clarify what this means and whether members of ICAI will be able to give audit and management consulting services in the UK
