I am a P.E. II student and has already cleared my first group in the Nov.2007 Exam. Still my Second group is yet to be cleared. I am under deep thoughts about whether to switch to the New Scheme i.e. P.C.C. or to seat in the May 2009 Examinations. what is the pros and cons for both of the situation, to remain with the old course or to go with the new one. Kindly Suggest me the best way to give the next moove of my acedemics.

you already cleard pe-2 1 one group for that congrats, in my view its better to give one more try in may 09 and clear it off..Its good if you take in may and clear it off, then if not you clear you can convert to PCC or IPCC..Best it to clear in may...all the best

It is advisable to appear in May 2009..and clear your second group once and for all..i agree with bala..

Give it ur all buddy, u will surely pass Grp2. and frankly, u hv cleared a grp (grp1) which is tough to crack, at the individual level, coz it has 2 Theory papers....a bigger burden is off ur shoulder...think abt it this way...
Grp2 is more scoring...ensure a solid preparation in Cost/Fm & Tax....IT wud get managed automatically..........dont panic & fill in the exam form in Feb....

some days back even I was in the same dilema as u r in bt by Gods Grace I was able to clear my 2nd Grp in this Nov 08.... I would suggest u to giv ur PE2 attempt in this May 09 as u must be aware that PCC results are getting more worst day by day.
Concentrate more on ur Costing & FM and pay a bit of extra attention in ur Taxation. Take these two subjects daily. IT could be taken care of jst concentrate more on first 5 to 6 chapters of inf tech as most of the objectives like distinguish cum from these chaps and do the 3 chaps of excel, word and ppt thoroughly as they give u confirmed 10 mks scores in exams
I m sure u vll get through ur exams easily.. All d very best !!!

Can anyone solve my problem? I have no friend who is pursuing CA course.
Hi friends, I failed in nov,2008 exam of pe2 but I want to try one more time to clear it in next attempt of may, 2009. I am not in network of any friend who is doing CA as I am from village area. I am in need of amemdments of income tax which are for coming Pe2 exam of May, 2009. Also I need all study material of Sales tax as books are not available for Pe2 for sale tax. I have old book of income tax which is relevant for assessment year 2008-2009. Can any friend provide me these amendments for assessment year 2009-10. I have done search on this site and others but not got the required reliable material which is exclusively for Pe2 may 2009. please provide me in a file if you can. Please provide only relevant amendments and complete study material of sale tax for pe2 which are exclusively for may, 2009 pe2
Also i want to know if I clear the exam in may,2009 then should I enroll for IT training now as i have heard that articleship is given in july. Please advise me regarding the time I should enroll for IT training so that I can get articleship right after clearing the exams without any hurdles.
Please advise only if you know it better and you are confirm that it happens

i want to write the ca pe-ii exams both groups for the may attempt, but i don't know how to plan for preparation of studies, and first which subject i have to start
