NRI Director filing documents with ROC in person?

Hi

I am a foreign Director i.e. an NRI (living in the UK), in the process of incorporating a private limited company in Bangalore.

My question is: as an NRI director, can I still come to India and to complete the filing of MOA, AOA, Form 1 (+Form 18 & Form 32) with the ROC? I am asking this because doing it from the UK requires that I need to get the documents (MOA, AOA and Power of Attorney) notarised in the UK, legalised by Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), stamped by the India  Embassy and couriered to India for filing - this is a very long process!

I am wondering if I can fly to India and file the documents in person without the need of these procedures - is that acceptable by the ROC?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Regards

Peeush
