Hello before telling u the answer I would like to bring to your focus on some points:-
1.In the given qs the new PSR is already present in the qs itself as it says the new PSR being shared in the ratio of 2:1 among old partners which already presents some part of the answer to us..
2.In parveen sharma sir's method or any other methods we approach from OLD RATIO TO ADJUSTMENTS TO NEW RATIO,but in this qs there is no need for any adjustments as u can directly go to the new ratio itself without adjustments.
SOLUTION:
PARTNERS OLD RATIO ADJUSTMENTS NEW RATIO
L 5/8 (1/8) OR -1/8 4/8
M 3/8 (1/8) OR -1/8 2/8
N - 2/8 OR +2/8 2/8
Hope this was what you needed as the solution....
