i heard that institute is framing new course (Diploma in Accounting Proffession) to meet the current demond. if it ture?

this course definitely fruitful and meet the existing demand for accounts professionals becs graduation in commerce only does not help the candidates to get a job they have to know the practicals in the field which will be satisfied by the proposed course and students who could not pass the ca exams also would be benefited by this course.

Yes, ICAI has decided to introduce an Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) Course. The objective of this course is to help those students who may feel that they would not be able to clear the final Chartered Accountancy Course.

After passing CPT, a student can register for ATC examination. He has to complete such studies and also attend classes for such period as may be prescribed by the Board of Studies. He has also to undergo IT Training for such period as may be decided by the Board of Studies. He can appear for ATC examination after lO months from the date of registration with the Board of Studies. Four subjects have been prescribed, namely, - Accounting, Law and Communication and General Commercial Knowledge, Cost Accounting and Financial Management and Taxation.

A candidate has to secure 40 per cent marks in each paper and an aggregate SO per cent of marks may be prescribed as passing requirements. He has to undergo practical experience and an orientation progranmle, after the completion of which he would be issued the ATC.

I have passed my 12th com with 75% and now doing B.Com from M.S.University. I want to know that when the ATC course will be launched? can you suggest me for which course should I go CPT/ATC? I mean which is the best option for me if I want to do it with my B.com? please reply soon and do the needful. Thank You Sir.

I need to know, whether it is useful for the B.Com students to take up this course. because i heard that this Accounting Tech course is equal to a B.Com course .

Please suggest me whether Accounting Tech course is better then a MBA Course .
