No, you cannot guarantee the smooth processing of the ITR if there is the difference in AIS, TIS, and actual income.
You will be receiving notices from the department, Reply to these notice in time along with required attachments.

Just give feedback in the AIS and mention the correct figures. There is no need to provide any statement unless asked by the IT dept.
It is very common issue with AIS and many figures like deposits, credit card spendings, mutual fund transactions etc are exaggerated. Just provide the correct feedback and that should be enough.

Feedback is exactly what I want to do to pre-empt a hassle filled experience with IT Deptt as I have four instances of mismatch in Mutual funds in my family ITR's..But I could not find a link or a button in the e-filing website. While there is a button for upload in the AIS Box, next to the download button, the file upload doesnt work. I tried pdf, jpg and excel formats which didnt work.. The IT deptt has displayed its preference for 'JASON' format for its use but we do not have access to Jason format to create files. Kindly advise and help. Thanks and Regards.

I don't have any mutual fund transactions in my AIS. but you have to click the particular transaction to get the details of the transaction. In the details there is a feedback button.
There is no need to download/upload anything. It is best to directly give feedback on the website because you can give feedback for items one by one.
