Dear Mr. JAI K, if u've read the students newsletter then you may know that our Institute is dead against the private coaching facilities and always encourage 4 self help.

In my opinion the ICAI is aware of the above facts.

Dhiraj and Poonam,

sorry to say but i am coming in between the discussion.

as u had said rightly it is never ending. But if you can hear a experience of CA's who gone through the Training seriously u will find them there are doing well.

It is right that some person has a problem that he is not able to satisfy whatever ICAI is giving. and there may be chances that some needy person/student have to suffer.

But belive me where ever such students are there he gets Support from the Principal or some institutions also.

here Question was not the Dis-satisfaction of the article students but the comparison with other and that not in our country's institution ...it with other country's institution which is really a bad. it was really shocking that a single thing of others kept us in thinking.

HOW MANY STUDENTS HAD MADE COMPLAINT TILL DATE RAGARDING EXAM ERRORS, MISTAKES, STIPEND?

when i was article my stipend was 250-450-600.00 still we have to work seriously with responsibility.

and at present if u check u will see some changes in the Articles student also.

regards

girish maru

Dears,

ICAP and ICAI should never be compared with each other at least in the issues related to salaries, stipends, value, international recognition etc. since population of India is much on the higher side as compare to Pakistan, accordingly unemployment prevails in India which results in lowering the demand of high calibre professionals like Chartered Accountants.

Members of CA of ICAI are more than 150,000, on the other hand ICAP has only about 4500 members, due to which ICAP has a monopoly in Pakistan due to producing CAs lesser than even the country's demand, A qualified CA of pakistan earns more than Rs.100,000 PM with little post qualification experience however an experienced CA-ICAP earns more than 500,000 PM forthwith many other perquisites. In India, case is contrary, i.e. more CAs than country's demand are produced which results in CA-ICAI to work at very low salary, because employers know that they could hire other CA at low salary.

Revival of ICAI policies is mandatory, ICAI should pass lesser number of CAs to boost demand at national & international level, it should intake lesser numbers of student rather than admitting any Tom, Dick & Harry in it, ICAP passes around 3-5% of its student which is very low, accordingly which results in higher demand of CA-ICAP, ICAP's paper patern is also very tough, even a high calibre student deprives to get through after many attempts, an above average student takes around 8 - 10 years to get through in passing CA-ICAP, although course duration is 4 - 5 years.
Due to all of the above reasons, ICAP has been fully exempted by ICAEW & it has MOU/MRA with other prestigious institutes of the world. CA-ICAP is now a days is being demanded more than any other CA of the world. CA-ICAI is being considered as a third class CA, due to outdated, obsoleted policies of ICAI, ICAI must reconsider its policies to remediate the existing situation.

Sorry, if any of you hurt,

they will obviously remain silent because.....

1) all the members of the board are the practising CA's

2) And they will not do any thing that will cost them from their own pockets......as they will have to pay it to their articles also......

Hi every body!

Dear all,

I am surprised to see this much lower stipend in India. Here in Pakistan we are still struggling for increase in stipend though we are paid much if compared to India.

In Pakistan we are also paid daily allowances in addition to minimum prescribed stipend from the client. In most of the cases we get pick and drop facility, lunch, refreshment etc from client along with a daily allowance ranging from Rs.150 to Rs. 500 per day. I get average Rs. 12,000 or more per month.

One thing how you can say that CA-ICAP earn lesser than CA-ICAI. May be CA-ICAI earn well but it does not mean CA-ICAP is earning less. Dears CA-ICAP in Pakistan earns at an average from Rs. 1,200,000 to Rs. 8,000,000 per annum (fresh to experienced).

Regards,

Mudassar
