Students are qualifying the exams due to whatever reasons....
(no need to discuss further on this point)
but the Institute has shifted its focus on next level by introducing so many post qualification courses.
.
After getting "basic knowledge" ( how many of fresh CAs do agree on this?) of various subjects; it is desired that fresh CAs should not get confused in which field to enter and..... get "expertise" in at least one or two fields of their choice.
.
However; it is tough to say that even after post qualification courses they will get expertise. They may get "extra insight" but "expertise" would be gained only when they are ready to join a firm where such services are being provided.
(And surely an established firm would not be ready to pay higher amount in intial stage of career).
.
Hundreds of pages can be written on these issues but the matter will not end.
.
At every front; we need "spectacular" changes....
Better... students focus on learning than passing the exams.
(Warning to those who are happy with only passing).
(Students passing exams of Cost & Management Accounting in CA Final are least aware how to establish Cost Accounting System in the organization. Neither they are interested to learn this despite huge opportunities therein).
.
The recent surveys in India say :
Young generation want only job and job....
However during 2006-2010; only .01% increase is there in the job market.
.
A simple question :
.
When all newly qualified professionals are interested in the job (despite having professional qualification in their hands) then who will open new professional firms?
.
Do you expect businessmen should open such organizations?
.
If yes; then what we are experiencing in Educational Institutions;
same will happen to CA profession.
&
CAs will get salaries alike Teachers !
( It was the experience of many CAs that they were "governed" by MBAs in the business firms).
.
.
( My personal views; others need not agree because "majority" is with......)
