Nothing is impossible!!
Give it a try with a positive attitude and u can do it.
Arrange for a book by Pattabhi raman (Snow white publication).
Good book for understanding the concept.

In my opinion you can do it...!!!!!!!
But it will be better if you join any tution for the same because..........
You will be able to complete your subject in time and also clear your doubts......
If you decide for self study then you have to plan it proper and there should be continuity in your study which will be a little bit difficult.........and if any doubt will arise then Post it on CCI forum we are always ready to help you....!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree. even topper of May 2010 told that she had studied it from Rajesh makkar sir's notes alone.
answer to u is its not impossible to have a self study in sfm. bt it will require extra efforts,.. u can try to do it from makkar sir notes.. bt it may b difficult not impossible..
bt i would suggest that have coaching for this subject
