LUT renewal

The process for LUT filing has started on the GST portal but it is just to fill the form. Submit all documents manually to the gst department they will provide you the LUT for the financial year 2018-19.

We have applied to the GST department for online LUT ( letter of undertaking) for export purposes. Whether the department will send the LUT to us, or we have to visit the office and submit the documents manually. What is the procedure. Please advise.  

Get printout of acknowledgement and LUT filed onlnine from GST portal and submit the same with jurisdictional GST office alongwith previous LUT, after acceptance by GST officer, it will be revalidate for the concern financial year.

How many days it takes for them to give approval. Is there a time limit?

LUT FOR F/Y 2018-19 IS BEING FILED ONLINE 

SO AFTER THAT THERE IS NO MANNUAL PROCESS 

Department people are insisting that we have to submit the Acknowledgement manually. Only after that, they will be able to process.

BUT AS I CALLED TO GST DEPT 

THEY SAID NO NEED OF MANNUAL DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION

Acceptance must be granted within three days of receipt.

I also applied for renewal of LUT for FY18-19 online but even after 5 days, there is no update on its status

Do I need to submit printout of LUT ARN and Form RFD-11 by visiting personally to Jurisdictional office ?

Definitely, you must submit print out of online submission before jurisdictional GST officer and get acceptance on official letter head.

Submitted the documents what officers asked. The concerned person told that he will call back if anything is needed.

Also told that it amy take a week whereas the stipulated time is 3 days.
