I have purchased 2 plots through a scheme floated by punjab govn. Under GMADA in the form of LOI in resale in 2010. The possession of the plot is not giving till date due to pending land acquisition litigation pending in courts and I only have number of the plot.Now if I sell the plots on a profit will it be considered under long term capital gains or will it be added to my income as in short term capital gains?
