Dear Simran,
.
It is the beauty of the Commerce Profession that it gives various alternatives to you during your professional course.
.
You can choose whatever PATH ( read it in Hindi - the meaning is the same ) is most suitable to you.
.
Because every student has different circumstances and choices before him.
.
So there is no hard and fast rule what to choose first.
.
Ultimately you have to apply your mind which one to choose first.
.
I can give only the possible outcomes of the decision once you choose :
First Alternative : .When you plan to pass first and join training later on.
.
Plus :
.
You can focus fully on your training. If the firm is too good; a lot of practical knowledge may help you to establish your own profession in future.
.
Minus :
.
If by any chance or bad luck; you don't clear your exams; then you find yourself in a very miserable position. Neither you would clear the exam nor the training is completed. Hence after two-three attempts; you may find yourself very disappointed.
.
In this situation; you will dislike to study the same material again and again.
(1. When you feel boring while studying; believe me this is also one of the reason of your failure in the professional exams
2. When you say that I have to read the same material again and again; it means your strategy of studying professional course is wrong which is producing the same result again and again).
.
Second Alternative : .When you take training first and pass exams later on.
.
Plus :
.
You can relax with clear mind set that you will appear only after your training.
.
Minus :
When you join training before passing; you may not have that depth of practical training which is actually required. In most of the cases; it is pure time pass.
.
Because general commerece students have habit to study only on exam days/leaves.
.
If you can continue your studies without any tension than you can enjoy both :
The training as well as Study with Learning.
Surprisingly; such students pass earlier than who focus only on one :
study only or training only.
.
If by any chance or bad luck; you don't clear your exams; then you find yourself in a very miserable position. Neither you would clear the exam nor the training is completed. Hence after two-three attempts; you may find yourself very disappointed.
.
Note :
.
Join only that practising firm where at least 3-4 students are in training. Otherwise you will do clerical work only during your training.
.
Also see that in the firm; if it is engaged in the business; at least 2 accountants are there. Otherwise the firm will convert you into an Accountant !
.
It is always better to search a good firm only with the advice of a professional who have interest in your career.
.
With a l l good wishes.
