Dear Karan,

In  this situation , you need peace of Mind, then only you can take good decision and right decision, so as you said you are also doing CS final, so it is an added advantage to you... if you are still have to do 15 months training for cs, then better join as a management trainee in any company, you will get 12 k to 20k per month, then you can concentrate on studies and take good decision.

other option for you better join in any Good CA firm/CS firm, see that they pay you some good amount of salary. start earning. now take one month leave befor exams and write exams cooly and peacefully... you will certainly clear it.

Things you have to remember

1- Dont hurt your parents- start earning and stand on your own legs

2- Dont comprimise your studies... you have to be ca, st audit firm is good for leave and Money

3- once you satisfy your parents, automatically you will get peace of mind and can Read ca peacefully.

4-be cool............. life is to Win not to Quit

DON'T QUIT. U CAN DO IT. TAKE UP A JOB IN A CA FIRM AND STUDY AS WELL. ENJOY EVERYTHING WHETHER IT'S YOUR WORK OR IT'S YOUR STUDIES. REMEMBER ALWAYS RUN FOR ENJOYING NOT FOR WINNING.

Giving 8 attempts shows that how much u desire to be a CA. But parents are more worried about life settlement....

By looking in to ur marks i understood that u r concentrating on all subjects...

to pass through the exam i think it is better to concentrate more on 2 subjects from each group which are ur fav and try to get 60+ then u can easily get aggregate...

better to go for job and clear CA group wise....

Ur parents will be happy and u too can achieve ur dream....

Think while and take right decision.....

All the best....:)

Dear friend,

I was in a similar situation as you are now facing. Even my first attempt was in Nov. 2008 and I have passed this time i.e. May 2012. You see, for seven attempts I could not pass and yet there was something in me that did not want to give up, though i thought of giving-up many times!

Day before yes'day, when i saw my result as 'pass', I felt relieved and content. Friend, my advise to you is that you shouldn't be thinking of quiting. Just try to see if your preparation for studies requires any changes; for instance studying practice manuals thoroughly helped me immensely in writing exams and i felt much confidence while writing exams.

As far as taking up a job is concerned, better join a practicing CA, so that u stay updated with latest developments and there is not much problem in getting leave either.

Friend, i am hoping that you start studies afresh thinking that the coming attempt is your first....! this is easier said than done, i know. But believe me, it will help.

Hoping to see you doing well  in Nov. 2012.....cheer up friend.....stay positive....

my chachaji is a ca just a simple advice he use to give me before each of my pcc exam ,,,,"beta pura syllabus kisi ka buta nahi hai karne ka isliye itna pardho jitna xam ke din revise kar sako nd one more thing in ca exam beter u focus on quantity of chapters completed by u.. rather then enhancing quality of each chap "

2nd baat jo chachu hamesa khate hai "jitne jada suggested lagaoge jada number laoge nd apne is mobile ko aag laga do"

tc bhai hope u do well this tym i knw ki aapko tutn liye hue bhut tym ho gaya hoga so my advice is to for books like paduka aur aditya jain sir sfm book jismai sab rtp nd suggested diye ho nd

goo ahead dude surely aap ca ho is baar ................if u need ny held then mgs me m also givng my ca final in this nov 2nd grp boz mai dono grp ek sath nahi de sakta ,,,,,,,,,,,

Hi Karan

First of all let me tell u one thing, u r brave enough coz u hv tried a lot....success never comes easily, it takes time...i dnt think you shd leave CA at any cost...even i cleared CA after 3 attempts....i think you shd join smwer and side by side and u shd also prepare for exams...go by one group at a time...take a month's leave and appear in exams...by this way ur parents will also be happy and u will also achieve what u want....

i will also tell u one thing, leaving smthng is very easy bt to fight with situation is smthng which u wud remembr whole ur life..

Best Regards...

There are two things u could do...
1. Have the grit and determination to somehoe crack this exam... Be hard on urself.. Study day n night... and feel satisfied about ur preparation

2. Find a good job n simultaneously do CA.. By giving just one grooup at a time.. Cuz working and studying both wont be possible.. In CA firms they give study leave for atleast 15 days if u join as paid assistant.. Or if u try in the middle east like UAE , therez a lot of scope for inter pass candidates.. One of my relatives is earning as much as a lakh per month (dubai).. Den u ll have a change .. U ll also earn pretty well n work there wont be as hectic as it is here.. so i can study n give exams from there...

Sorry if these are bad suggestions... But its completely understandable.. But honestly speaking there are ppl facing worst of situations.. But once de cleared de are earnin much more than rank holders.. One of my frenz cleared only the 13th atempt. He now works for a salary of 4 lacs a month in UAE.. As far as CA is concerned its not about time, its about smartness.. So be positive !! U can do it !! There are ppl hu haven cleared inter in their 5 attempts .. Their situation is worst! pls think about those kind of ppl .. U r on a higher pedestal.
Good luck !!!  Sincere Prayers

Hi Karan,

I was also in the same dilema like you are now 2 years ago. The solution to that was to give a break from all types of CA related new (Amendments, Study materials, pass percentages, Notes, Classes) for a period of 6 months.

I took 1 group at a time and cleared Group - 1 May 2011 and cleared the same. I attempted Group - 2  in May 2012 but unfortunately was short by 17 marks in aggregate.

Going by the marks you hav escored in the past 8 attempts one can understand that if you concentrate one gp at a time u would be able to clear Group -1 with flying colours.

In case of Group -2 u need some more time for clearing it.

ALL THE BEST and CONTINUE WITH CA. You will surely be CA KARAN. BE CONFIDENT.

First of all , i really wanna appreciate the efforts of all  the guys overhere who hv given multuple attempts nd still continuing.I salute ur passion . I can assure that u all r gonna b amongs the best professional one day.

My suggestion to all the buddyis  here is to introspect the result nd find the reason for ur negative outcome. If u r able to do that u surely gonna crack the exam easily wether u give one group or two as i kw u all r vry hardworking nd becoming CA is ur ultimate dream . SWOT analysis is must  to find ur goal............Never quit ur goal kyuki uske baad aap khud se nazar nahi mila sakte .B positive , don't interect with negative people, Enjoy life at same time, Talk with senior ND last DON't LOSE HOPE.......yesBest of Luck !!
