Before suggesting u anything, i want to tell u about wat happened wid me..

I was in B.Arch. & completed 2 yrs, after that due to health prob i came back to home, so i left my dream course..

my family chooses CA  field for me, i started CA wid no interest.. even cleared my PE-II widout ny interest in this field as its quite boring as compared to architecture..

when i started my arcticleship, i got little interest in this field when i handled a client of Architecture Field.. now this was the turning point for me.. I thought that day - why i m still running behind that career ! i can do the best for my dream field's ppl ! even i can get expertism in handling specially the architects/engineers/contractors clients... then i got the sector & started working wid interest..

after a months, i found a gud avenue "Company Law Matters".. n till this date i m exploring this field..

now, i give foundation & support to my dream fields ppl nd i m satisfied that i m not far away from my dream field.. more or less, but i m able to make my dream come true by way of consultancy in designing to these clients too...

So, in my opinion, "CHANGE THE WAY OF UR THINKING & CHANGE THE WAY OF UR WORKING IF CIRCUMSTANCES ARE NOT WID U... U CAN ACHIEVE UR TARGET IN SOME OTHER WAY..."

THINK FOR A WHILE.... !

HAVE U EVER HEARD ANY NAME OF THE CA WHO IS SPECIALIED IN THE SECTOR OF RADIO STATIONS/TV STATIONS/LIVE TELECASTS/NEWSPAPERS/MEDIA etc ???

U CAN BE THE ONE.......... !

LIKEWISE U CAN MAKE UR TARGET ALONG WID CA...!

U'LL ALSO GET WAT U WANNA.. N UR FAMILY WILL ALSO GET WAT THEY WANNA...!

ULTIMATE GOAL OF LIFE IS JUST LOTSSSSSSSSSS OF SMILE... WHICH U CAN GET IN ANY FIELD......!! THE CLOSE 1 ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN CAREER..!

my situation is exactly contrasting...my parents wanted me to become doctor, but i hate it.

But i had no interest in study at that time. i was good in cricket, so wanted to be a cricketer. and, then some of my dear friends made me realistic. I am bit sharp minded, so joined CA, but, i wanted to be engg. or pilot...but it was too late then.

Now, 1 year on, i am happy to have joined CA, thanks to friends whom i met physically and on CaClubIndia.

I personally believe in '3 idiots' philosophy, much before movie was released. So, my suggestion DO WHAT U LIKE, and if due to some reasons, u r unable to do it, like in many cases, including me, just LOVE WHAT U DO

See whether u really want to be this or its merely your friend circle suggested or any other reason... or u r excited by the glamour attached with this...

en why there is a doubt even in RJ/ VJ....

u r the better judge.. u know urself inside out...

Neither we , nor anybody can help u in this direction...

see whether u have left no stone unturned to have the knowledge on RJ/VJ...

whether u know  wht  all is required for the same...

whether u have the talent or bent for the same or whether u have that will to develope / improve in this direction to become a success in this field...

sometimes we actually dont know wht we want...

it can also happen that u turn out to be good Chartered or good professor...

just request u to just visit urself...

after doing all this if u think that RJ field is gud for u then please try hard to convince your parents..

i m sure that they will understand you.

but pls never ever do anything which doesn't interests you.

I would suggest you to make your parents understand very calmly and in a right way.Look ca is a great course one can get a huge success in this field but killing your dreams for anything that is not a good option . not right at all

I myself wanted to study science and become pilot but due to making my parents happy i pursued what my parents wantedme to do but today when i look back i realise that i could have make them understood by doing some efforts and even today i sometimes feel why i got convinced so easily.

and i also would like to add here the lesson which everyone should learn from "3 Idiots":-what aamir khan tells madhvan and then what madhvan tells his dad...take a lesson it was only a dialogue but lot of realities lies in that.

so go ahead once you succeed in making ur parents understand where your happiness lies in they would definitely agree with you and believe me that they would be more happy in seeing you successfulland happy one day and not in seeing you successful but after making compromises.

Its too late dear. Actually you are here to be CA and do it seriously. Dont get swayed by the latest  3 Idiots message that be what  you want to be. Yes you too got the opportunity at the time of opting this CA field but you couldn't decide at that time.So from now on what matters  is make the right decision at the right time. You could have said straight no to your parents and nothing would happen,a little let down but after that they would accept it.. My friend i am not a expert but by my experiance it is the practical way to live your life, so focus where are you right now.  Best  Wishes
