i am goint to file ITR for a NRI living in dubai...earning salary of 12 lacs per annum...paying rent 40000 per month..
how can i reflect those things in ITR.. and which ITR is applicable...
and if any thing different from those of residend please tell me...

no he is not having nri pan...actually his family in india...and i am going to apply his pan first at indian address...

for the rent deduction you will have to check the respective DTAA.
Y do u want to file his return in India wen he is earning income outside India?? It is not taxable in India..
is he earning any income from any asset in India?

actually he is in mood to come india permanently ...so want to make money in white...as he want to purchase a house and a shop...for that as a source of money he want to file his itr..

you need to check the wealth tax provisions for that.
money brought back is not covered in income tax.
It has to be disclosed as wealth & same will be exempt for 7 yrs from wealth tax.
check section 5 of wealth tax act.

yes u r right...i have to check wealth tax provisions....
khushboo ji can u tell me one more thing how i make his money of around 50 lacs on papers....as in india if you want money on papers u have to file ITR..but in this case i am confused please clear my doubts ....

please check whether the person is resident or non-resident as per Income Tac Act.

hi lived less than 182 days so he is a non resident...he earned salary income in dubai and want to come to india permanently and want to make money on papers....as main doubt is without ITR how money will be on papers....and main thing is INCOME TAX RETURN IS NOT APPLICABLE AS TAXABILITY NOT ARISE....HOW SHOULD DEAL WITH THE CASE...
AS I FILL ITR OF NIL AND FILL THE WHOLE AMOUNT WHICH HE IS ABOUT TO BROUGHT TO DUBAI IN EXEMPTED INCOME OR WHAT...
