Hello Friends!!!!!

I have not filed my Income tax return for A.Y. 2009-10 up to now.

But TDS of Rs.30000 had deducted for the same year.

Now Since time for filing return has got expired, Is there any way I can get my refund.

PLEASE HELP

What was the reaso for non-filing of return?

ANY REASON CAN BE CONSIDERED. NON AWARENESS OR ANYTHING CAN BE SAID

BUT NOW I WANT TO GET THE REFUND.

You can apply to addl. commissioner/commissioner under section 119 of the Act. In that application you will have to mention the REASON for non-filing of return ontime. If the addl. commissioner / commissioner is satisfied that the reason is genuine and there was no negligibility on part of assessee then he may consider the application and allow you to file the belated return. There is no other recourse of this.
