my business is based in Maharashra. I recently went on a business trip to Andaman&Nicobar and stayed at a resort. I was charged UTGST and CGST @ 28% in the bill.
Can i claim the CGST as ITC?

No, as per section 17(5) of cgst act. Inward supply related to food and beverage is not allowed for input tax credit unless it supply receive for further supply. So as per my knowledge totally invoice amount with gst claim as expenses.
