My IT Return has not yet been processed for AY 2012-13. It has been recieved at CPC and the status at https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ shows "ITR-V receieved" since August last year. My return type was ITR-2
Want to get a feedback if others are also in the same boat. Also, Why is it taking so long, last year it was processed by November itself.

Yes Madam, last time(for AY 2011-12) the retuen were processed in Nov 2011 and intimations u/s 143(1) were sent forthwith.
i find no reason to press panick button.
Intimation under section 143(1) has to be sent within 1 year from the end of FY in which the return was furnished. So the latest date stands 31/03/2014 for ITR for AY 12-13.
You will appreciate that workload at CPC is increasing as many of us are migrating to efiling from paper return mode.
