IPCC - May 2012 query

Hello everyone,

Iam preparing for my IPCC and am going to appear for the exam by May2012.

I know I have to undergo IT training and Orientation program as per norms of ICAI.

But due to my personal situation, I have planned to undergo these training sessions after my exams.

So will I be eligible to appear for my exams, before undergoing the training sessions?

Or should I complete the training and then only write my exams?

Thanks in Advance

i don't know y u r thinking like that...u should do ur ITT & orientation on priority basis....since these conditions r pre-requisite of IPCC Exams & a part of CA course...it should be done according to CA regulations....

Don't play such games with ur career

As per the existing rules, a student can do his ITT and Orientation Programmes even after writing IPCC exams, but both these must be completed before joining articleship in a firm. So, without attending these two, you can write May 2012 attempt. But it is always advisable to do them before itself. However, there is no harm in doing after your exams, if there is really a genuine reason for which you are not able to attend. But usually now a days, as every student is almost thinking of the same, batches of ITT/Orientation are getting full after exams. So, you make sure that you register for these programmes in such a way that you can attend them almost immediately after your exams.

Hi Krishna,

Thanks for ur detailed reply.

Iam clear now.

Thanks again
