My request is not to ignore the notice completely, at the same time do not respond it immediately.
Wait for any further communication from department for a week, till that time prepare for best suitable reply.

My freiends also receved this intimations. after observation of their form-16, 26 AS, it came to know that the IT system does not considering Gross Total Income field, it is considering only Net income field ( GTI-Savings). and sending such intimations to assesse stating that , you are not disclosing GTI figure, the difference amount is ........... (this differnece exact matching with our savings amount.)
if we want to respond that intimation means in online, there is only 2 options i.e., Agree to add, disagree to add the diffence amount.

@ Satya Sir,
Yes........ first option: when you agree to the addition..... no question for you to be asked.......
But if you disagree....... you'll see a section open up where you can select from a list of reasons. You'll also need to attach supporting documents before you submit your response.

Sir, can you please help me as to how to fill up the various informations required when I select "disagree to addition",if I have only 80C deductions like LIC,PPF,Tuition fees and 80TTA deduction on bank interest on savings bank account?
1)TAN of the Deductor- I have paid LIC premium ,PPF,Tuition fees. So,do I leave this blank?
2)Deduction made under section-
3)Amount paid/credited by deductor-
4)Nature of receipt as per deductor-
5)Income/Gross Receipt as per Return-
6)Head of Income/Schedule under which reported in the return-
7)Reason-"Deduction claimed but not shown in Form 16 " is to be chosen.
8)Justification/Remarks-
9)Upload supporting documents-can I upload the bank passbook page showing my deposit to PPF?
Please reply as to what should be filled up in these above points or should I leave it blank and fill up just the "Reason","Justification/Remarks" and "Upload supporting documents"?

My father also got 143(1) intimation . Primary differences shown in intimation are PPF(80C) & TTA . He is retired person, this can't come in form 16 . I don't know how to provide TAN of Deductor in this case.
So I simply revise the return with differences in salary . Now i am trying to open in intimation 143(1), it is saying "you have already submitted revise return". Should i do anything else now

My father too got the same intimation. He is a retired person and has deductions under section 80C and 80TTA.I suppose when we go to submit the response, and after selecting to disagree to add, we do not fill up any of the blanks, except the last 3- Reason,Justification and attach supporting documents.

My mother also received this notice and I have got no idea what to do. No idea what to enter in the following fields.
1)TAN of the Deductor- my mom has investment proofs for 80C,80D,80G and 80TTA. Do I need to provide TAN what was present in her form 16?
2)Deduction made under section - Will this be 192 as my mom is a pensioner?
3)Amount paid/credited by deductor- Is this the total amount paid by the bank as mentioned in form 16A?
4)Nature of receipt as per deductor- No idea
5)Income/Gross Receipt as per Return- Will this be total income (pension+FD) minus savings?
6)Head of Income/Schedule under which reported in the return- No idea
7)Reason-"Deduction claimed but not shown in Form 16 " is to be chosen.

Dear Sourabh, I Think detail should be filled as per:
1)TAN of the Deductor- eg JLDF****A mentioned at Form 16
2)Deduction made under section- if amount substracted in gross receipt in Form 16 for eg Medical Allowance then it should be 17(2), if under HRA or Transport All then Section 10 AND if amount are eligible for deduction under 80C/80CCD/80E/80E then same should be written.
3)Amount paid/credited by deductor- How much amount in respect of Sr. No. 2 given to you during that FY
4)Nature of receipt as per deductor- What was the nature of receipt eg. Medical Allowance, Transport Allowance, LIC,PPF, NSC, NPS
5)Income/Gross Receipt as per Return- Amount metioned as gross receipt under your return
6)Head of Income/Schedule under which reported in the return- in which u reported income may be 17(1) i.e. gross receipt
