Hello Radhika,
US GAAP means United States Generally Accepted Acounting Principals, as in india we us Indan GAAP in USA they use US GAAP, with some endeavours of ICAI we are goning to adopt IFRS which is nothing what the convergence of US GAAP & other globally accepted accounting principals. as in relation to international accounting ur Query is not clear.
as far as material is concerned u can get materail on US GAAP & IFRS from Taxmans publications & other many books.
