Many times, we wake up in the morning in a bad-tempered and irritated about not being able to finish our tasks...... Isn’t it a terrible start of a day????? We supposed to be wished Good Morning but our morning is a bad morning..... Huh,,,

Well, it is only us who can choose to laugh through the challenges of work and life and have a good night’s sleep (apne sapno ki duniya mein) and have a good morning or be stressed away from the minute we wake up... then the biggest question come to us is “What to do?????”

I think Humour is the best answer to the question....

Humour is nothing but the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement.

People of all ages and cultures respond to humour. The majority of people are able to experience humour, i.e., to be amused, to laugh or smile at something funny, and thus they are considered to have a sense of humour.

1.      Collect Fun Things: Fun things should be kept alive by accumulating things that are full of life and energy at work station like bookmarks with witty things or sayings or funny show pieces etc... Do collect things that say we are not at work and pleaseeeeee avoid negativity at any cost.... plz...plz...plzzzzzzzzzz

2.      Leave work at work: We grew up by being advised by our elders that we should not bring work at home... but how many of us follow this??? I think about 20 – 25% of us follow it... So, start following it from today... Remember, work is what we do, it is not who we are. Don’t be stressed about work at all the time. We have to learn to keep things in perspective and leave the worries at our workplace... thinking of work at home does not helps anyone, not us to but it can create tensions in our life (upar wala bachae is tension wali bimari se and agar aap married ho to baap re!!!!!)

3.      Catalyst for creativity: Kya aapne kabhi socha hai ke humour ek catalyst ki tarah bhi kaam kar sakta hai??? Have you ever thought that humour can also act as a catalyst for creativity??? No??? Start thinking yaar.... Don’t believe me??? Hmmm..... Let us understand the similarity... Creativity is the quality of being creative. It is looking at the same thing as everyone else, however, seeing something in a totally unexpected or in a different way. That’s the case with humour too....

4.      Understand Humour: Author E.B. White once said, "Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but the thing dies in the process and the innards are discouraging to any but the pure scientific mind."For most of us, Humour means reading jokes or playing pranks. A perfect and healthy humour would be laughing about stressful mourning or sharing funny anecdotes from your previous workplace or even personal life. Everyone can easily relate to jokes about quirks of society or human nature or any neutral topic. Don’t go for debate... It is advisable to avoid comments based on race, s*x or a group, which could be offensive for someone. Remember, Workplace is not the right place to experiment.

Surprise is also a type of humour.

5.      Explore your creativity: All of us have some creative ideas, so start exploring it...  forming a group with friends and start fun activities...
It is us who can manage the challenges of work and life. We should enjoy our lives...
