HI GUYS I AM HERE TO DISCUSS ABOUT ICWA CAMPUS PLACEMENTS ,,,As the no.of students passed out CMA in june 2012 are low irrespective of pass percentage,,,Can we expect a a more percentage of students to be selected in campus,,? How many companies are going to come for placements,,,?? which is the best place to opt for campus..? What will be the expected package..?? If any more ques or any suggessions regarding this are most welcomed..!! THANK YOU

hmm may be u r right of having more placements for cma's due to low no.of students,,regarding companies concerned COAL INDIA is taking more no.of cma's next to dat TCS and INFOSYS. and you can opt chennai as more no.of companies are coming there..!! package is around 4-7 lakhs..as far as i am concerned ,,,! btw any idea how many companies are coming this time for campus,,????

ONLY JUST HAVING DEGREE WONT HELP .......ONE SHOULD POSSESS THE REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE........

IN THE CAMPUS INTERVIEW MANY ASKE QUESTIONS ON CARR(COST ACCOUNTING RECORD RULES) AND CAR(COST AUDIT REPORT RULES)..............BUT MOST STUDENTS DONT ANSWER THAT............

WHEN I HAVE ATTENDED THE MT(MODULLAR TRAINING)....THERE WAS A SIR ..I DONT KNOW HIS NAME ...HE TOLD THAT IN THE LAST CAMPUS INTERVIEWS.....QUESTIONS WERE ASKED ON SUCH MATTERS ....AND NO ONE HAD ANSWERED THEM .....ITS REALLY A AWEFULL SITUATION THAT A CMA DOESNT KNOW ABT CARR AND CAR.....

SO JUST WANT TO SAY THAT IT DOESNT MATTER WHETHER U R GOING IN COST FIELD OR NOT....... BUT IT DOES MATTER THAT IF U R GOING FOR AN CAMPUS INTERVIEW AS CMA FRESHER YOU SHOULD POSSESS THE KNOWLEDGE OF CARR AND CAR AND CAS .....

THEIR APPLICATIONS ......AND ALL THAT......

THANKS ....M NOT SAYING THIS THING TO U ...RATHER ITS FOR ALL THE NEW FRESHERS WHO ARE GOING FOR INTERVIEW.....

PLEASE GO THRUGHT THE CARR AND CAR....AND CAS(COST ACCOUNTING STANDARDS)....

@ pramod me dont knw yaar how many companies are coming...!! hmm me to heard regarding coal india..!! May be this time also they may take more number only as der is more want in that company it seems one of seniors told me,,he is working there..!!

heard psu s r not visiting campus due to pending case in madras high court is it true ?

can we atend campus in all four regions if we r nt selected in ny one campus ?

@ Ravi s yeah man i to heard it but that notification is meant for only CA's campus it seems i've heard it as such i m nt sure once clarify it,,,,,!!!!

u recieved a letter from icai !

hmm .....

by the way as far as MT is concerned ...it is quite compulsory to sit in exam........its of 15 days session.....

and there is different MT for open and postal students......

for postal students it starts from 6pm to 8 pm in the specified dates as decided by council.......

i suggest every student to attend this.....

@ PRAMOD THAT NOTIFICATION IS FOR ALL PSU'S OFFERING CAMPUS INTERVIEWS...BY THE TIME OF OCTOBER IT MAY BE FINALIZED IF NOT NO PSU SHALL COME FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS,,! LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST,,!! IF ANYBODY HAV ANY OTHER VIEW OF IT PLZ SHARE,,,!!
