iam suprised when i came to AFRICA

they were asking are you ACCA OR CPA

ACCA COURSE IS VERY VERY EASY COMPARED TO THAT OF CA 

STILL ACCA HAS GOT MORE RECOGNITION THAN CA

ITS TIME SOMEONE REBUILD THIS COURSE AND TAKE CA PROFESSION TO GREATER HEIGHTS AND GAIN GOOD RECOGNITION WORLWIDE

to add...........i have always felt that in ca course there is nobody to properly guide you

teachers are interested in money making

principal never tells you his tactics...after all few years later you will be his competitor

there may be some exceptions in your(reader's) case

"Join our academy, pay full for 4 years at once i.e 4 lacks. If you do not pass in the specified time, the entire money paid by you shall be refunded"

                                 - Sri Medha Coaching center in Hyderabad (in one of the newspaper advertisement)

"Articleship is a mere waste of time, just come to our coaching institute for 3 years and we will get you top ranks in CA final"

                                 - Superwhiz (Coaching institute in vijayawada)

 The above mentioned coaching institutes are the top 2 institutes in the state where thousands of sheep go and graze. CA is a perfect course in itself. But the influence of these external goose is creating an irreparable damage to the students.        

I May make the following strong recomandations to the Institute.

1)Instittue should monitor the coaching centeres and should make some guidelines on advertisement.

2) Instittue shoudl take steps for restricting the Dummy articles.

3)Exam should be conducted once in a year instead of every six months. Many may not agree with this point . But studnets find the enough time to prepare well for the exams and aovid mugg up the subject.

4) Only a selected firms after compling the institute guidelines should be eligible to take the articles. Other wise the students who are joining the firms where the minimu exposure is not there . The total 3 years life is going vein.

5) Presently there is no barriere on entry into the CA course. Institue try to change this stystem to save the students who are losing their life in writing the exams.

6)Exams paper pattern also need to be improved and make more standard one.

evrey comment here is correct. One should question ICAI. And these CA coaching institues are behaving like this. there is no protection for young come outs.

CA is loosing its own value.

 

All the above posts are indeed painful and traumatic to read but they are the harsh truth whereby every student / member of the Institute is going through in their life. Its the pulse of the CA profession through out the nation and sadly no one is willing to redress these grievances. If the big boss ICAI is just going to ignore the plight of students / members , then super boss Government will have to intervene to wake up ICAI which is in deep slumber.

i think icai should try to make cpt more competitve like jee etc 

any solutions....
