i am plannig to file itr 2 online...
i have downloaded return preperation software and when i open that particular excel file .. it it showing an error that macros are diabled.. and some more... help me out in this...

The msg is being dispayed because ur macro security level is set at high.
Do the following.
1. Go to Tools->Macros->Security and set the security level at low
2. Next save the file and exit
3.Next wen u wil open the file the macros wil be working fine..
4. You will be shown 2 pop up msgs. Just click ok..

another small one..
isnt there a seperate coloumn for PROFESSION TAX...
what i did is i have less the amount of profession tax from the salaries amount...
is the way right...

Yes, you get the profession Tax deduction...
That will anyway be shown in your Form 16

i am not asking whether i will get deduction for that...
i am asking that there is no seperate coloumn for profession tax in ITR 2..
so i should deduct that in salary amount itself...

Yes there is no separate column for p.tax in the form so u can obviously deduct that from the salary amount itself..

Actually i have filed the ITR-5 through on-line,but now i need to revise it can i do it ? instead of that if i will not filed the (hard copy)acknowledgemt of the original retun with in 15 days,it willnot amount to ROI filed.then i can file the fresh return.
can some one pls suggest me.

you are right...
if u dont file the acknowledgement within 15 days then it wont amount to a valid return...
u can file the fresh return.......
But u might face one problem the website may display the message that a return has already been filed against this PAN no.
In that case u can file a revised return and quote the acknowledgement no. of the previous return.
