Gst registration query

Dear Valued Members,

An applicant is a MF distributor and he have applied for IGST in his individual capacity and GSTIN await to generate, he also have mobile service centre & Vodafone ministore.

Whether he need to apply for another GST number for his mobile & telecommunication shop, please guide.

Business place should be same then 2nd registration is not required

1. if the business constitution is Proprietorship for all business, then only one GSTIN can be obtained under one PAN.
2. If the other business is constituted as a company, then company PAN will be reqd and a new GSTIN also.

In the 1st case, you can add other place of business by amending the gst reg. details on the common portal.
