Gst itc claim for july'17' to mar'18'

Dear Sir,

    We are not filed Gst return from July'17' to Mar'18' due to some issues of company. Now we plan to pay the gst amt interest with penalty before 5 th of oct'18 (Returns).  Is it possible to cliam the input tax credite for the period from july'18' to mar'18' on 5 th oct'18'.

kindly advice the issue.
