Since the car is a business asset and is solely and wholly used for the business, input credit of GST shall be available on the servicing and the parts of the car.
It may be noted that input credit for motor vehicles is not available vide the provisions of Sec. 17(5). However, to the best of my knowledge, nowhere has it been mentioned in the Act or Rules or any Notification that input credit for spares or servicing shall not be available.
So, input credit for the servcing and spares for any vehicle shall be eligible.
