Hi comrades,
Can groups in IPCC and FInal be passed separately or one has to take both if they fail?
thanks to give an overview of pass marks and average ..

my question is that we have to take the passed group again if we fail the other group.
in other words, i pass Group 1 and fail Grp 2..and next time do I have to take Group 1 again?

I mean in a group I failed to get 40 in one paper..but overall aggregate is 50+. do I have to take only that paper again or the whole group?
supose assume that a person has got 38 in one paper , 60 and 55 in the remaining papers in that group(assuming that he/she wrote grp2 in ipcc), he ll get an aggregate of 153 i.e 50% in that grp but he has failed in a paper. so he has to reappear in the papers whihc he secured less than 60% to clear that grp.He ll be exempted in reappearin in the paper in which he secured 60%or more

if i pass pcc with 51%
can i give it again??
i mean cant i drop to attempt it next time to score better??
I dunno whether u can appear again after passing the exam but in CA exam, there is no difference between a person who get 60% and passes and who gets 50% and passes unless the previous one gets a rank...Both are after all CAs only and the higher percentage doesnot distinguish between the two persons who are chartered accountants and professionals in their own style

but isnt a better % better for ur cv??
Getting good marks is fine and acceptable...but records in a persons academics ll help him/her in the short run i.e when they are students but in the long run, hard work, dedication and perseverance towards ones goals matter..even companies prefer such candidates who show their talents when it comes to work..so gettin good marks is fine but it is not the end of CA or life..
