Form 16 - Director signing on his own

Dear Member,

We are to issue Form 16 to an Director. He being authorized signatory for all the Form 16, can he sign his own Form 16. Doesn't seem logical. Please provide your viewpoints and any reference under IT Act, if available.

Thank you,

Vinay

form 16 is mere certificate of deduction, it does not get submitted to department, even soft copies "26AS" confirms his TDS without sign even

now digital signature is in practice, so he can use digialy signed form 16A in such events.

yes ,director can be sign at own

YES DIRECTOR CAN SIGN
