I want to file Income Tax Return for one of my client for the A.Y. 2010-11 & 2011-12 through E-filing.
My query is, whether, any interest / penalty etc. will be imposed because of being so late. If yes, then, is there any way out to file those returns without any interest/penalty?
What if his tax liability is NIL?
if his tax liability showing -nil-,then no attraction of section 234a,234b,& 234c.
my suggestion is to go better for manaul filing instead of e-filing & pay some price to the tax department as bribe for quick fast return filing & rest off, they will take care.
my firm will do the same mantra.
note; sorry for my suggestion to give bribe.

Sir,
For A.Y.10-11 you cannot file e-return, i think manual will be better for that,
and for A.Y.11-12 you can file online with interest u/s 234A /B/C, and if he has nil tax liability then he can file without interest/penalty
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
