Myself Puneeit a Ca final student

I have been informally communicated its better to appear in exams from small cities as in big cities quality of candidates is better .................so its easy to clear.....

Is it amyth or reality?....... can anyone tell from where can I get attemptwise city wise groupwise passing %

I THINK ITS OTHER WAY ROUND. IN BIG CITIES, THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS APPEARING ARE HIGH AND HIGH IS THE PASS PERCENTAGE AS COMPARED TO SMALL CITIES. ITS ALL HARD WORK AND LUCK COMBINATION.

dear puneet, there is no shortcut to clear the CA exam. Its just your own myth that students from small cities have more passing % then big cities. So, you concentrate on your studies and forget all these.. Best of luck for your exam

Dear Puneeit,
Where ever the centre be, the paper is given by ICAI, New Delhi. You have to study well and expect good result.
Remember study and systamatic work never goes unrewarded ..!!

From where u got that pass % is ocntrolled/ determined on the basis of exam centres

Its more of a 60% Hard Work and 40% Luck. I have experienced that. My fellow students passed their groups despite being above average students while i was given low marks in IT mysteriously, despite being a bright one!!! :D Luck plays a huge role here.

i think the majority agrees that the hardwork and upto some extent luck matters the most in our exams.. so if i go to a "small city" exam centre without studying at all will never make me pass..i think studying hard and professionally is the only choice we have!!!
