Very informative article sir.... Tips that are really helpful ..

Can you tell the strategies you adopt in the long run too.I mean if we got more than 1 year to exam.. How we can tackle our studieswith the work.. and also how much time should we given a day in studies ?????

ya Shijin(your name is a unique one...n i like unique things:))...

the strategy to be followed in long run is to be such that you don't loose contact with your studies...

just be in touch with it..YOU JUST HAVE TO READ...

don't try to remember anything....just understand whatever you are reading...u will not come to know and half of your book may be over..and the next time you will pick it..you will be full of confidence and joyful feeling that i have done it already...

because at times...a normal human measures it's progress at times as : VOLUME OF SYLLABUS COVERED / WHOLE SYLLABUS...

Because..if there is a lot of gap in your studies...you may not concentrate well later when you start..

its just like starting an old bike after a long time...but if the same is only started once a day without much ride...it wont pose problem in long rides..

i hop..u got my point...

keep smiling...:)

hi can u tell u how much time we sud study for ca final and at at a stretch for how much hours we sud study

@ Prerna..

Apart from coaching..atleast 4 Months self study is sufficient to get a rank..

Studying at a stretch depends on one's caliber...

I used to study long without break..

Though one can divide the studying hours in 3 stretches of 4 hours each a day!

Ask for anything else..

Sir how to prepare CA IPCC exams. Nov 2010 i wrote exams. But i didnt write well. I dont know what is the way for Studying pls guide me to get success in May 2011 exams.

Dear...

first of all...make a time table and stick to your targets..

You need to develop interest in the subject at the time of study!

Remember, a theory subject takes almost 1.5 Months to complete if studied for 3 Hours a day(based on my experience)

Try to study only 3 subjects a day instead of all the 6-7 subjects...

And further, try to complete atleast 2 of your subjects in first 15 days of your preparation. That will surely boost your confidence.

Love your study and don't take it as a burden.

Thank U so much Rahul Sir. I am not able to attend coaching classes. Now i am doing self preparation what are the reference books that i have to use.

tank u so much sir...i got the point.......

and ofcourse ya..... itz like starting an old bike.......

@  S. Gomathipriya

Here goes the list for IPCC

1. A/c - Tulsian

2. Audit - V K Aggarwal

3. Law - Munish Bhandari

4. Cost n FM - Ashish Kalra

5. IT n SM - Dinesh Madan

6. Tax - Singhania (try to grab a copy of notes of a coaching institute instead)

I hope, this is the answer to your question.

Rahul Garg
