Absolutely no. Most of the softwares such as Tally and ERPs are not compatible with Mac. If you want a device to help you out with studies you should go with ipad and apple pencil combo, I personally used it through out my final ca.

If you need to take it college, it might not be so good. Buy laptop with wide screen. If at home, buy desktop, the best in durability.

What you can do on Mac can be done on IPad as well and with apple pencil the task is more fluid

I would choose the MacBook for developing work projects. Of course, it's also good for students. But students may encounter such a problem as a lack of important programs needed for study projects. The Windows operating system is much better for students than the Mac. I have had experience with both Windows and Mac. I ran into a problem that was slowing down my new Mac. As it turned out, I had too many unused apps just taking up space. After removing them, the Mac started running much faster. If your new MacBook Pro is running slow, consider regular maintenance to help optimize your Mac's performance.
