Hi,
I invest in mutual funds via the STP route. I do not prefer the SIP route.
For this I regularly switch funds from a Liquid fund to a Equity (or Thematic) fund - in the same mutual fund house.
I do not redeem anything into my bank account.
Would this attract STCG/ LTCG?

Yes, the units of liquid funds get redeemed for purchase of equity fund units.
