I do agree that paper was lengthy. The key to solve these type of papers is "Selecting proper sequence of Questions". Theroy has been major part of this paper since few previous attempts and it was asked for around 35 marks every time. It would be pertinent to note that, if you are good at theory and QT, then passing was not an issue in this question paper.

Managing time through "easy to tough" approach would have made it more comfortable. Nonetheless I would suggest you to cover the marks lost here; in remaining three subjects, by proper planning and effective time management while writing exam. Wish you all the best.

Costing paper of ca final had printing mistakes in Q no 3a. It was from the book of sanjay aggarwal sir with altered figures. Some figures were altered correctly (Double the actual figure/20 times the actual figure) while others were not. Like, they altered the total cost as 20 times the actual cost but sale price was altered to twice of the actual.Due to this error, total cost was 5000 while sale price was 700 only. Funny na.... SP,v o/h,f o/h should have been 7000,4000000,6000000, instead of 700,200000 & 300000. Hope the institute will do something in this regards....

actually in simulation u have to give 60vouchers as the question is abt 75 hrs service & the random no time taken is around 2.5 hours. so answer will be 2*75/2.5 = 60 vouchers *15= 900 rs in a week

humans r never satisfied.......... paper accha hai tho ICAI ka level nahi hai koi aur aaj jab tough diya tho baccho ko mar dena ka irada hai.... ab humara institue kare bhi tho kya kare??? its doesnt depends upon institute it depends upon us if paper is good it means we prepared well and if its not upto our satisfaction dan its  v who's lacking somewhere not the institute..... paper is tough or easy institute always try to maintain a balance v are the students of ICAI n should not blame our institute like dis.....

the 2 thoughts are of different people. the first thought "icai ka level nahi hai" so easy papers " are from those great ca who have qualified ca exams and now sitting on the lounge sipping a cup of coffee and analysing these papers.while the second thought "paper ne maar diya" is from the current batch of students who are suffering because of icai's so called great reputation.
