If a CA student has completed his articleship but not completed his studies so can he become a director in a private limited company?

According to me CA is not complusory for appoiting as a Dorector. The person can be appointed as a director.

Companies act specifies only disqualification ...
there is no such requirements for a directors to have this or that education qualification/s
