@ Madhumathi:
ITT (Fee-Rs 4000) and Orientation course (Rs 3000)should be done at ICAI branches/regions. Contact your nearest branch for the timetable of above courses alongwith your registration letter of IPCC.

@ Ankit:
If you are an existing IPCC student and have completed ITT and Orientation earlier, then you dont need to do them again in Direct Entry scheme. You need to pay only conversion fee, assuming you have already paid both groups fee and articles registration fee. New books will be given only for fresh applying students and not for existing IPCC students. However, in my view, you can always buy them separtely from your branch if you still want new material.

@ Vishal:
Your attempt will come in May 2013 but you have to convert to new scheme before the end of Sept 2012. So you wont get Nov 2012 exam eligibility under new scheme because there is a condition of specified study period from the date of commencement of registration to the scheme. I assumed you are a graduate student and met the specified % prescribed by ICAI.
@ Hardik:
Assuming you are a graduate student and met the specified % prescribed by ICAI, you can start your articleship now after conversion to new scheme but exam eligibility will be in May 2013 because of study period requirement prescribed by ICAI.

Hello! I am IPCC student and completed ITT and Orientation. I will give both groups in May 13. I don't want to go for articleship before passing may 13 exam then should I pay conversion fees?

It seems you have not gone through the application form. Refer Page No.3, its clearly written as follows:
The fee should be paid by way of Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at Mumbai/ Chennai/ Kolkata/ Kanpur/ New Delhi, depending on the address of correspondence of the student falling under the particular Region.
Please note that ICAI will never accept cash/cheque mode for regn. fees.

@ Surti:
Conversion to new scheme is optional. If you decided to go for articleship till both groups pass, then you can do as in your existing IPCC registration itself. No need for conversion pay. But the benefit of converting is your articleship starts immediately without waste months time.
