The landlord of the building registers the housing society after three years of occupancy. How do you arrive at the cost of the assets that is Diesel Generator, Elevator and Water Pumps on the date of registration of society from where the account writing starts.

Dear frank in this case we can arrive at the value of the asset by taking depriciated value of asset. E.g if your generator is 50000 then depriciate it with 15% on wdv and then take the value in your balance sheet.(30706.25) similary for others. So that the value taken will not be in question in any case.
