how much amount of deduction we can claim in 80DDB for cancer treatment of my dependent father
Actual expenses is rs 120000

Below 60 years 40000/- and above 60 year 100000/- this is maximum limit in under 80DDB in old regime.

Above mentioned deductions are applicable for F.Y 23-24 , however if he is claiming for F.Y 24-25 , then he has to wait for Budget 24 , which is on 23 rd of July , if amendment took place in this section, it may or may not happens, but check, if you are claiming for F.Y 24-25 .
