no the assesse can not take the deduction of both in the same financial year as per income tax act

no assessee cannot claim the deduction in both this section as it is not permissible in the act.
in sec.80-u the individual himself can claim the deduction on the expenditure incurred by him for deceases mentioned under the section.

What is the amount of deductions under 80u and how much disability is required, what if 75ooo rupees is rebate is given to those whose disability is above 60%?

dear friend,
Deduction u/s 80DD and 80U cannot be claimed simultaneously for the same person. but it is no where written that an assessee cannot claim both deduction in same financial year if he incurrs expenditure for disabled relative(80DD) and on other hand assessee is himself disabled(80U)
