Dont you think there should be an external audit of our institue and the system of checking of examination papers must be checked.

because as far as i can see the result of PCC this time has been really really bad. just because they wanted to show it to the world that the percentage of result is fair , they have failed many students in group 2 even when they deserved to clear and they are passed many students in group 1 even when they dont deserve to pass the examination.

i have seen many such cases.... this has been done just to increase the pass percentage of group one and decrease the pass percentage of group 2 BECAUSE the paper of first group was totally unexpected ...

dont u guys think this is playing with our future... the result must be on the basis of a fix standard and merit ??

i say even revaluation of result, just because of a bad result, is also bad....

there should be a fixed strictness of checking according to the level of difficulty of the question paper.... playing with the figures of result is like playing with our lives as our life depends on the result.

no offence to those who were able to clear but after the basis on which they have declared the result, i dont think that the result declared by the institute is justifiable. ..

there should be a committee to keep a check on them .... how many of u agree with me !!!

common students speak up !! its our life, future and carreer at stake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how did the merit rankers get so many marks? are they from some other planet....see their marks......passing is not a tough job at all....instead we must focus on studying in a better manner.......

why are we discussing things over which we have no control? Can we force a committee? is there a students union? cant we devote our time to understand the reasons for our failure n try to enhance our result? why to make a fuss of delayed results,low percentages in every attempt? Can we introspect where we went wrong? Have all students failed? no forum discussion talked about improvement?approach the merit rankers to share their study tips....... why to discuss n do a post portem analysis of such things?

i m not talking about the rank holders ... i congratulate them ..

BUT I POINT AT THE STATEMENT THAT THEY HAD TO IMPROVE THE RESULT THATS WHY IT TOOK SO LONG TO DECLARE THE RESUILT ........

WHAT IS THIS? ?? ???

is this some kind of joke or what that they'll increase the result just to show to the country that the result is good???

just for the sake of giving a good result they can not pass bunch of students ....

THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED CRITERIA OF PASSING STUDENTS AND THATS THE MESSAGE I WANNA GIVE

AND I ASK U, even the ones who have cleared the examination ... IS THIS THE RIGHT WAY OF CHECKING THE EXAMINATION PAPERES OF A PROFESSIONAL COURSE??

There is no student union n that is not our problem..

the result is poor and that is not my problem ..

if we didnt study then we are going to fail sure shot ...

i give a damn even if the pass result was 0.000001% ..................................

but i question the basis on which the marks are given.. there must be a set benchmarking and the result should be declared according to one's aptitude and intellegence and no revaluation should be done just for the sake of improving the over all result..

if the question paper was tough or easy, the marking must be just and in accordance with some FIXED STANDARDS

u may fight for transparency if u want...U have a wonderful tool of RTI where u can ask all queries if u want...u can demand answersheets too....ur concern is right but we need collective power to push it....nothing happened or will happen till then.....

dude .... boond boond se ghada bharta hai ...

and we have a very large population of ca. students....

i just need there statement that they are with me and then nothing is impossible..

i m ready to lead them, i give them the gaurantee and assurance that our questions will be answered..

u just have to raise ur voice a bit... give me ur questions and i'll demand for a pannel to answer our questions and it is the institute's duty to listen to us...

this is our future we are talking about .. i dont wanna be a chartered accountant if i dont have the aptitude for it, but its our right to know the marking of the papers is legit or not ...

Conduct of Examinations

The results of PE-I, PE-II and Final Examination held in November 2006 simultaneously declared on 17th January 2007 as against the normal practice of declaring the results of PE-I/Final and PE-II results separately with a gap of 15 days.
Examinations conducted at 167 centres in 93 cities all over the country, in addition to Dubai and Kathmandu in May 2006 and at 174 centres in 102 cities all over the country, in addition to Dubai and Kathmandu in November 2006.
First Common Proficiency Test (CPT) successfully held on 12th November 2006 at 146 centres in 106 cities in India, apart from Dubai and Kathmandu abroad.
New Examination Centres opened for the Chartered Accountants Examinations at Ahmednagar, Erode, Kumbakonam, Pondichery, Kollam (Quilon) w.e.f. November 2006 Examinations.
Examination Centres which were earlier discontinued were reopened at Patiala, Saharanpur, Sangli and Palghat w.e.f. November 2006 Examinations.
New Examination Centres opened for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) at Anand, Karnal, Sonepat and Tiruppur w.e.f. November 2006 and at Tuticorin and Rourkela w.e.f. February 2007.

Initiatives

Examination Centre at Bellary is proposed to be opened w.e.f. May 2007 Common Proficiency Test (CPT).
New Overseas Examination Centre is proposed to be opened at Abu Dhabi w.e.f. May 2007 Examinations.
Guidelines for extra time/writer’s help for physically challenged candidates modified to enable visually challenged candidates to bring in their own writer subject to certain conditions.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal continued to successfully conduct its Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examinations with the technical know-how provided by the Institute.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka provided with assistance in conducting ISA Assessment Test.
Results of the Chartered Accountants Examinations held in May 2006 and November 2006 continued to be provided on SMS Mode through MTNL, India-times and Reliance R-World apart from regular hosting on website of NIC.
Facility to submit application forms online for candidates of PE-I Examinations continued to be provided for PE-I Examinations held in May 2006 and November 2006.

really it is rediculous result. i can't belive this result. you are right vikrant. there should committee to check the system for verification of result. i want what wrong with me ? Can any one tell how i was wrong. and where am i less hard work? Really i think there should be fraud or intentional error. is it true? please guys tell me? i want your expression. can we take action against board of studies. If yes, tell me how?

AS WE ALL ARE AWARE OUR INSTITUTE IS NOT GOVERNMENT BODY..WE ARE DOING PROFESSIONAL COURSE AND WE HAVE TO ACCEPT WHAT THEY SAY AND WHAT THEY DO !

IT IS NOT " AAO JAAVO GHAR TUMHARA " IF WE GUYS INVOLVE HUNDRED PERCENT WITH THIS PROFESSION DEFINATELY WE WILL ENJOY FRUITS ! STOP BLAMING OUR BELOVED INSTITUTE. FAILURE MEANS WE HAVE EARNED SOMETHING..THE EXAM COMITTE IS WORKING GOOD BUT THE STUDENTS COMING TO THIS PROFESSION NOWADAYS ARE NOT MATURED ! BEFORE B.COM WAS THE BASE LINE !

FIRST OF ALL ICAI HAS TO REMOVE PCC/IPCC THEY SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO CA AFTER PUC..LET THEM COMPLETE B.COM THEN TASTE OUR PROFESSION.

I DONNO WHETHER OUR PRESIDENT READS OUR BLOGS HERE BUT SOMEONE SHOULD SEND THE MESSAGE ON BEHALF OF CA STUDENTS.

MIND IT PROFESSIONALS WILL NOT COME TOGETHER FOR FIGHTING AGAINST ANYTHING EVERYONE HAS HIS OWN MINDSET.SO PLEASE FIND SOME OTHER SOLUTION

the point is to increase the level of CA ENTERANCE.......it is like showing beautiful dreams to students to pursue CA n then breaking them badly by giving succh results
