It depends on which area you wish to make a career in. If you want to be in Accounting, Auditing, then CFA or maybe even MBA finance won't make much sense. CPA, or something in IFRS would do more for you than a CFA or MBA in that case.
If you want to be in Investment Banking, it makes sense to do CFA as rightly mentioned by Mohan sir.
MBA is a good option for certain other jobs in finance not covered above.
Further, its not that without an MBA one cant get a 7 digit salary. Im aware of many who got a starting 7 digit salary even after clearing in 3rd attempt (CA Final).
