no yaar...iv gone thru a lot of articles n practical xperiences n a CA duz nt earn mor dan 4-6 lacs initialy...unles fcourse ur a merit ranker....n it takes a lot f years 2get to a respectable 7figure salary...whereas an MBA is like a chota shortcut to get der....n once u bcum a CA der is a huge possibility dat ur boss wil be an MBA.....

u r right here shiv but just imagine a person earning in 7fig. doesn't have time to get the feel out of it

Also ca is more of hard work whereas mba (that form a good college) requires real competitors both as laborious and smart.

And wt u earn also depends on wt u learnt - i know 2 ca firms whose earnings gone to 7fig. just in 5 years of its begening.

ul get d feel once u start earning yaar....newz i gues v hav a very diffrnt approach...so ne oder suggstions about ne oder degrees wid CA...?

so wat about CA + ICWAI...wat r future prospects for it????

If law inetersts u - cs

or u can consider degrees after ca like cima london

 Agree with ashish.

the value of MBA creates only when it is done through IIM and u knw it's very difficult to take admissions there.

nd CAs have vast experience in every filed of commerce, we can choose any field as our work.

we have more knowledge than MBA.

CA n CS is gud..but CA n MBA (finance) frm a gud college is d best....bt MBA requires tym..givin CAT n all...if u can get tym frm articleship n all..

ca+cs can b done simultaneously

n afta tat mba finance fr 2 yrs or corp law..

CA + CFA(intl)...who said CA requires long tym to get 7 digit salary p.a m second attempt CA and in my first post qualification job m earning 7 digit salary in hand per annum..its just takes efforts to make decision...will realise w=once u all become CA

It depends on which area you wish to make a career in. If you want to be in Accounting, Auditing, then CFA or maybe even MBA finance won't make much sense. CPA, or something in IFRS would do more for you than a CFA or MBA in that case.

If you want to be in Investment Banking, it makes sense to do CFA as rightly mentioned by Mohan sir.

MBA is a good option for certain other jobs in finance not covered above.

Further, its not that without an MBA one cant get a 7 digit salary. Im aware of many who got a starting 7 digit salary even after clearing in 3rd attempt (CA Final). It all depends on how you market yourself and your qualifications. The essentials of a good salary are not necessarily your qualifications, but it the career buffet you offer. CA+ICWA

CA + CS is a gud one !!
