1000 total loss.
Since actual payment out of shopkeepers pocket is 1000 only. 200 and 800 given to the lady out of money borrowed (assume) from the other shopkeeper. Ultimately first shopkeeper have to pay 1000 out of his pocket which would be his actual total loss. Hope all will undestand my view.

simple auery, simple answer is Rs. 1000
(200 goods cost + 800 to another shopkeeper)

Total Loss is Rs. 1000/-
Note : Fake currency point is placed in the question to confuse people and to create illusion , Therefore solve without it.
First simplify the question , by eliminating fake currency point ,in the question and consider that Ist shopkeeper take 1000/- from the 2nd shopkeeper for 5 minutes .
Now , out of this Rs. 1000/- taken for 5 minutes from the 2nd shopkeeper , Ist shopkeeper pays Rs.800/- to the customer and the goods worth Rs. 200/-.
It is the same amount amount which, now he needs to returned i.e Rs. 1000/- to the 2nd shopkeeper after 5 minutes. ( This include 800 paid to customer and the cost of good which he kept )
